Discovery Chess Academy
Discovery Chess Academy is the Discovery Center™'s premier after-school chess program for elementary-aged students. Designed for children ages 5–9, the Academy helps young learners build confidence, focus, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through engaging chess instruction and guided play. Whether your child is learning the game for the first time or is ready to strengthen their skills, our instructors create a welcoming environment where every student can grow at their own pace. Students develop more than chess skills—they learn patience, perseverance, sportsmanship, strategic thinking, and decision-making that transfers into school and everyday life. As students advance, Discovery Chess Academy serves as the pathway into our Discovery Chess League and other competitive opportunities. Notes
